Pros: Inexpensive Gigabit, Green ethernet

Cons: It was running fine in my home network for about a year, and suddenly the Windows Media Center PC it was directly connected to would end up with limited network connectivity when it woke from sleep. I then have to reboot the WMPC to regain full connectivity. Nothing about the machine, the network or the core router changed. It's really frustrating because the WMPC uses a SiliconDust HD Homerun Prime network tuner to tune/record TV. So when the WMPC does not have full connectivity the TV doesn't work! Explain that to the wife... I recently took the line between the core router and this switch and connected it directly to the WMPC to eliminate the switch as a possible failure point. So I far have not had the same issue and so it's looking like the switch is the culprit. Unfortunately it's days of of warranty and so I guess I'm buying a new switch. Unsure if TRENDnet will be my next purchase though (and if so, certainly not this model).
