Perfect for under 20 bucks!
Pros: Works perfectly for what I need. I prefer this over my ethernet because its mobile. Very fast for web browsing. I downloaded games on Steam blazingly fast.
Cons: The attachment that comes with the device is loose and may fall out of the USB port. Would not recommend using it.
Overall Review: Do not twist it fully because I did that and thought I broke it. Im pretty sure if I had done it twice I would have snapped the antenna out of its solder points. (dumb me.)
Broken Sata Connectors
Pros: Fast, lots of storage, name brand.
Cons: Not very durable, plastic is brittle. Broke the SATA connector off with not much force after trying to get the drive out of my case. The entire polycarbonate L piece snapped off. (Instead of using vinyl they use polycarbonate. A quick google will show results that the problem is widespread.) As it turns out Western Digital is not accepting RMAs for broken Sata connector ports. IT'S A PIECE OF PLASTIC??? How hard is it to replace that? WD customer support will not admit they skimped out on the plastic durability on the product. Meanwhile I am going to try and salvage the drive using superglue and my wits.
Overall Review: $130 dollar purchase dead within a year because of poor cost cutting measures by Western Digital.
I don't think I would spend as much for this again, especially after having two dead pixels.
Pros: It's as the product description says: -1440p -144hz -has AMD freesync capability -The monitor has plenty of bells and whistles -External USB hub -sizable bezel for those who like "borders" on their monitors as opposed to those who like "flush" ones -1 MS response time makes input lag MUCH less noticeable
Cons: -The monitor came with two dead pixels which appeared after one year of use -The monitor has a weird "sparkly" look to it which may be hard to explain -- It's almost like its really glossy looking, but I can't make heads or tails of how to describe it. I have two other older monitors sitting beside it and they don't have that look to them.
Overall Review: I would probably look into other brands and not worry about "freesync" this or "Gsync" that. I have an Nvidia graphics card and plan to go to AMD, but I feel like the sync features are just gimmicks. I paid 500 dollars for a monitor that came with one dead pixel and had another go out. Not quality at all, if you ask me.
No Brainer
Pros: TOTAL ANNIHILATION. THIS CARD WILL BLOW YOUR SOCKS OFF! It runs everything on ultra that I throw at it. Quieter than my GTX 570 and consumes less power/produces less heat. I ran benchmarks using MSI Kombuster and got 78 FPS on the combined one @ 1080p. Overall happy with this purchase
Cons: none.
Okay quality - good options - Scared it will blow up
Pros: Modular, 750 watts, bronze certified. Your basic PSU...
Cons: -Biggest CONCERN: whining inside the PSU, possibly from a bad capacitor. -The PSU would shut off power to the computer randomly on its first start ups. Works fine now, but still worried it could happen again. Possibly MFR flaws. -The PSU itself seems like it was produced cheaply. If you look inside where the fan sits you can see alot of "out of alignment" parts. I owned a XION PSU @ 1000 watts and that thing was beautiful. IDK if people regard them as high quality, but I thought the one I purchased was perfect. This PSU is nothing to compare to that one.
Overall Review: I was told over and over that Corsair is the best brand of PSU out there, but I am disappointed in the quality of this one. For 90 bucks I could get something a little more powerful from a different brand.
She's a beaut
Pros: BIG... LEDs light up the fan quite a bit. Nice Airflow. SUPER QUIET!!! less quiet than the graphics card fan.
Cons: My case wasn't meant for it... I drilled holes though and it works just fine. This isn't a problem with the fan though, just my lack of research. Case is an IN WIN dragon slayer
Overall Review: I bought a giant CPU cooler (5in tall) and it fits. keep in mind that the fan sits inside an inch from the screen (in my case a 1/2 because the screen sits a 1/2 an inch from the actual metal. (it protrudes)
