1 out of 5 eggs Take a pass on this slow/buggy product 09/26/2014

This review is from: Kingston 32GB DataTraveler microDuo USB 3.0 On-The-Go Flash Drive

Pros: Clever packaging for OTG

Cons: S-L-O-W as molasses in Vermont in the winter.

This is my first 1-egg review in years.

Most USB3/blue ports on two computers I tried came up as USB2 in windows 7/64 bit. "Device could be faster if" messages.
This was reported by other reviewers here.

Write speed 1MB/s. Awful

Other Thoughts: Design of or USB to Flash chip used inside this is wrong.

Microsoft's free USBview tool shows connection mode as 0x210 which is not USB3. Nor are the speeds.

Also would not work as OTG in my HTC One. That's still an open issue.
