ASUS VX228H Black 21.5

Pros: Great response time, high contrast, and just looks great. It's also one of those things that just works. I ran it through a windows 7 display calibration and ended up with pretty much the exact same settings that i started with.

I use the screen for gaming and as a secondary display for writing code and it handles both perfectly. I read a couple of reviews that says it doesn't do well at displaying text but this isn't true at all, text looks crisp and clean as ever.(+if you don't like how text looks you can always just run clear type tuner, which is automatically run at the end of windows 7 display color calibration.)

Cons: none yet, If it breaks i will update this review.

Pros: best bang for your buck processor out there.
stock heat sink actually works great at least before overclocking.
very quick.
works well for every game i have played on it so far.(Starcraft2, Bioshock inf, League of legends, CallofDuty)

Cons: It's not an I7.
An I7 would be the best but it also cost $280.
I have been told it runs hot when overclocked but hey what processor doesn't.
It also has plenty of power before overclocking
