Pros: After years of using mid-size cases for my builds, squeezing the GPU in, figuring out how to fit 4 all the 3-1/2" drives, putting up with the rats nest of data and power cables, I was blown away by how quickly my new build went together using the Define XL R2 case. No muss, no fuss, there was plenty of room for everything and then some. Cable routing was easy, I can fit more HDDs than my MB can support. Sturdy case, I love easy to clean dust filters on the front and bottom. You couldn't ask for a quieter case, lots of internal sound absorbing material to mute fan noise. Although I'm just using a single GPU this case will allow 4x of the longest cards without any problems. It includes more than enough accessory hardware (screws and such) for most builds. I've found my new favorite case for future builds.
Cons: I like having separate LEDs for HDD and Power, this case only has a single LED for either/or.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Running my Core i5-6600K at 4.2GHz all 4 cores 100% loaded (with 4.5GHz Turbo for single core) with no problems. I would purchase this MB again.
Cons: Board arrived with v1.00 BIOS loaded, but wasn't surprised. Anyone who's built more than a couple of PCs knows to download the current MB BIOS and drivers from the manufacturer's website and toss the included driver CD, right? I flashed v2.40 BIOS as the first order of business, loaded all the current drivers from the support site onto Win10 Pro and have had zero problems for the past month since completing my build.
Other Thoughts: I used the MB UEFI BIOS overclock tweaker to load the 4.2GHz CPU OC profile (modest but easy OC for daily use). Also used the Intel extreme tuning utility (download from intel website) which I thought provided better OC setup details versus the ASRock A-Tune software.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H50 120mm Quiet Edition Liquid CPU Cooler - Intel Only
Pros: I found this cooler easy to install after watching some of the YouTube videos showing how it's done. Keeps my i5-6600K just under 50C with all 4 cores fully loaded at 4.2GHz, Typically idles under 30C when not gaming. I'm a convert, no more air cooling for my builds.
Cons: It would be easier to setup if the instructions were more detailed in the package and on Corsair's website. The cooler itself is a good product, just wish Corsair would take the time and effort to improve the instructions for the beginner. No biggie, YouTube was a big help here.
Other Thoughts: I removed the grey thermal interface material from the cooler and used Arctic Silver 5 instead. I also used 2x Arctic 120mm PWM fans (push-pull) instead of the included Corsair fan, so I could run the fans at a lower (and reliable) speed with good airflow and less ambient noise.READ FULL REVIEW
