Pros: Huge upgrade from my eVGA GTX 660 card, this GTX 970 easily handles any game I throw at it. Very pleased with this purchase.
Cons: No backplate, I'm disappointed eVGA couldn't include a $3 backplate to help protect the card. Also seems odd that eVGA includes a VGA adapter with a GTX 970 card but no display port adapter (which would have been very helpful). Who in the world needs a VGA adapter with a card like this? Are your going to use your GTX 970 to drive a 30 year old CRT? Even my grandma uses an LCD monitor and doesn't need a VGA adapter. Seems like eVGA is missing an opportunity to provide a superior product by not including a display port adapter and a backplate.
Other Thoughts: Really a large card, you need to plan for it. I purchased a Fractal Design Define R4 mid-tower case with this card because my old case was too small, it was well worth the effort of repackaging my game machine so the video card fits without any problems.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - CPU Cooler with 120 mm PWM Fan
Pros: Works very well, fan is very quiet. Watched how to install the heat sink and fan on U-tube, but the instruction sheet packaged with the item was adequate in any case.
Other Thoughts: If you've got 4 sticks of RAM with tall heatsinks you'll need to put the fan on the other side of the heat sink (pull instead of push). The fan bracket is symmetrical so you can easily put it on either side of the heat sink as needed.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Very well constructed PSU, heavy duty. Really like the fully modular cabling. Everything went together nicely for my build. You get what you pay for and this item was no exception ... well worth the cost to get a premium PSU for single video card gaming.
Cons: I've gotta admit, the packaging is overdone. Seriously, putting the PSU in a little protective velcro tote bag? What's the point? Not taking off an egg for it but a plastic ESD bag would work just fine.READ FULL REVIEW
