This review is from: macally Microphone for iPod Model iVoiceIII
Pros: Worked great for my iPod Classic 2g (120Gb); I now have a great way to take verbal notes while I am commuting to work (as long as the police don't observe me doing it).
Cons: None yet.
Other Thoughts: I haven't hooked an eighth inch cable to it and another audio source, so I don't know how the fidelity is for recording at the higher setting. I primarily got this device to allow verbal notes, read texts, and lectures to be recorded onto my capacious iPod.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: LSI SCSI LSI20320IE Ultra320 PCI Express 1.1 JBOD Controller Card, Single
Pros: Works well right out of the box. Used with Windows Server 2003 and Windows XP and it works great. Its nice to be able to use the full potential of my LVD320 drives.
Other Thoughts: Haven't yet tried the controller with Linux or Unix, but it should work.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Microsoft Windows XP Home With SP2B for System Builders 1 Pack
Pros: Stable for Windows, and its not the bloated Vista. Large built-in driver database to at least get minimal functionality until one can load the proper drivers.
Cons: Closed architecture (as opposed to Linux). Too bad Tiny-flaccid is going to stop supporting this OS soon.
Other Thoughts: My customer bought an HP machine with only 512mb RAM and the manufacturer stuck Vista on it. After replacing the motherboard, doubling the memory to 1gb, and loading Windows XP on this computer, the machine just screams and the customer is happy.READ FULL REVIEW
