This review is from: Harman Kardon AVR 2700 7.1 Channel Network AV Receiver
Pros: Looks sharp
Cons: Originally bought an AVR 2650. After noticing the unit was getting extremely hot, I looked inside the unit and saw that the fan that was mounted right on the heat sink wasn't working.....
So Harman/Kardon replaced it with a 2700, since the 2650 was an obsolete unit. Couldn't get any audio through that unit and once again, both cooling fans didn't work.
They replaced the unit 3 more times.... and ALL of the units were Dead on Arrival. Couldn't get audio through any of them AND none of the fans worked.
I've lost all faith I've had in Harman/Kardon as being a quality unit.
Other Thoughts: I can't really put into words how disappointed I am in Harman/KardonREAD FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Harman/Kardon AVR2650 7.1 Channel A/V Receiver
Pros: Looks good. That is about it.
Cons: My first unit I bought the cooling fan on the heatsink did not work, so it would get hot. This unit actually worked though.
The next unit they sent to replace it. The PSU and heatsink cooling fans did not work AGAIN. The actual unit didn't work properly either. I was using digital optical input, no output.
The NEXT UNIT I got from them after replacing the 2nd unit, DID NOT WORK. Same flippin issue.... Both cooling fans did not work, and once again... the digital optical inputs wouldn't work.
I've lost all of my faith in the Harman/Kardon brand.
DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING OF THEIRS. It will most likely be DOA.
