This review is from: ASRock E3C226D2I Mini ITX Server Motherboard LGA 1150 Intel C226 DDR3 1600/1333
Pros: It's a nice board! The IPMI works very well and it has 6x SATA which works with my 4 bay NAS and caching SSD.
Cons: No support for Suspend-to-RAM (S3). On my last Supermicro board I could put the NAS to sleep at night, saving a lot of power.
Idle power consumption is a bit high.
Other Thoughts: I wish the power consumption were lower. With the same components and a H81M-ITX board I saw about 11W idle. With this board it's about 26W idle. I realize that the IPMI takes 6W or so (I tested with everything off but IPMI) but I was hoping for something below 20W.
Linux IPMI driver has some problem which causes a reboots to fail, it just powers off. Blacklisting the driver solves this, but I would like to get it working again.
