5 out of 5 eggs it works on freebsd 05/04/2013

This review is from: Intel PWLA8391GT Desktop Adapter PRO/1000 GT 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI 1 x RJ45

Pros: It works on FreeBSD and is recognzied as "em0" network card. Media speed is shown as 1000Base-T. I am happy.

Cons: None. Intel Pro 100 worked on this box so why Intel Pro 1000 shouldn't?

ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2, CPU Cooler - Intel & AMD, Multi-Directional Mount, 92mm PWM Fan
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: -Easy to put on, love the clip design, one of the fastest CPU builds I've done in a while
-Quiet and cool, keeps my i7-620 at 27-30 C idle, 40 C on a moderate load, 50-51 C on high load while running prime95
-Cools down the processor extremely fast

Cons: -Some say it barely fits and I agree. Mine luckily has some clearance above (low-profile G-Skill) RAM

Other Thoughts: Yes, you do have to either take out the mother board to take off the fan easily or you can take off the other sidepanel of your case. Simply plug out those black plugs to remove the fan and voila, the heatsink easily comes off.
