Pros: Great speed for the money had no signs of being used before cosmetically talking. works great with some games like Battle Field 3 and 4. Great sound, battery life will depend on settings you put it on from 4-5 hrs max. 2 hrs when gaming.
Cons: keyboard has some keys that are a little hard but may wear out with time.
Hard drive was a Hitachi 5400rpm, had bad experience with that brand, but have backup of my backup so no big deal.
Other Thoughts: When i got mine it was at $359.00 I wanted to buy a second one but price went up. I can get a new or similar for the same price its now.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SAMSUNG D3 Station 3TB USB 3.0 3.5" Desktop External Hard Drive STSHX-D301TDB Black
Pros: - It was on sale $99.99 for 3 TB, slick design and as i own a 2tb M3 station looks just like it that i had no problem with it.
- 3 year warranty.
- USB 3.0
- Had no errors after doing testing of read and write in destructive mode.
Has a lot of end connectors for Europe, America, and some other 2 styles for other places for wall outlets in the world.
Cons: Fist: Its not a true Samsung drive its ST300DM drive with an external case of Samsung as i own a 2 TB M3 which does have a Samsung drive i decided to buy this 3 TB model, and was not happy as i had bad luck with seagate drives in the past.
Two: The power adapter had corrosion in the terminals and had to clean them up, and the bag was "shield" connected and did not work. scraped the terminal again and tried again and now it worked.
three: USB cable is very short less than 1 meter long.
finally: temperature reached 52 C or 125 F when transferring 1tb of files and pictures
Other Thoughts: 25mb of stable transfer in a USB 2.0 have not tested in 3.0READ FULL REVIEW
