This review is from: SYBA SD-SATA-IDE SATA/IDE Adapter, Connect IDE Devices to SATA Port on Motherboard
Pros: Cheap, well built, not just a card like some others, leds work great.
Cons: instructions were wrong, caused multiple drive conflicts and crashes on my MSI K9a2 platinum mobo.
Other Thoughts: I bought to connect a hard drive from my old computer to a new build. I installed it and per the instructions set the jumper to master. Two days of crashes later I had to set the jumper to CS for it to work. After that it worked great. It caused video driver crashes for some unknown reason, I would have to uninstall the video card (8800GT) and then reinstall the drivers with this thing unplugged to get the computer to work right. If I plugged the dongle back in and rebooted, same issue. After I changed the jumper to CS it worked great.READ FULL REVIEW
