This review is from: ARCTIC COOLING Accelero S1 Rev.2 VGA Cooler
Pros: Installed on my Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT and it lowered my temp about 10 degrees Celcius. Fanless and SILENT! Easy to install having taken the very similar stock cooler off. Under heavy gaming load the stock cooler would reach the upper 60's, with this it hit the mid-50's under similar conditions.
Cons: typos in instructions (although this may be a pro if you think that kind of stuff is funny)
Other Thoughts: Just in case you are curious: there is water in the copper heat pipes on these type of coolers. I attempted to "trim" my old one to fit a fan in the case next to it. BAD idea. Luckily I noticed it beading at the end when I turned on my comp, started Open Hardware Monitor, witnessed it showing that my temps were about 112 C!!! and shut it down. Thought you should know ;)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Modular, good price, steady power since I bought it about two months ago.
Did I mention it is modular. I love the feature. If you like to have well managed cables and can find a decently priced Psu like this one, get it. I don't have all that much in this case and besides the Mobo and processor connectors I think I have two cables plugged in. It is SO much easier to manage two rather than 6 or so.
Cons: none really
Other Thoughts: Powers my rig:
-ASRock N68-S motherboard
-AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 240 Processor @2.8
-Nvidia GeForce 9600 GT
-2x1Gb DDR2 PC2-6400
-WD Caviar Black WD5001AALS 500GB Hard Drive
-1 front 120mm fan with speed controller
Pros: Great for the price! I finally upgraded from a cramped ole' HP case and was pleased with the features and space this one provided.
-Bottom Power Supply placement
-Quiet fan(and plenty of room for more of them)
-Mesh fan filter for bottom vent under power supply
(I was worried about sucking dust into my power supply because of the vent on the bottom of the case)
Cons: The metal in the case is not as sturdy as some that I have worked with and almost feels cheap, but I'm not picky about it.
Other Thoughts: Good case for a decent gaming rig.READ FULL REVIEW
