This review is from: Belkin Home/Office BE106000-10 6-Outlets Surge Suppressor
Pros: Ten foot cord, slim design, compact size.
Cons: This may be just me, but I was disappointed to find that it DOES have a switch. (It's on the end with the cord.) I was hoping that it didn't have one, because switches are too easily bumped - especially by pets - causing things to turn off unexpectedly. And it only takes a very light touch to turn this one off. At least it's in a place that makes it less likely to be bumped, on the end and next to the cord. But it would be better IMHO if it didn't have a switch at all.
Other Thoughts: The thin design makes it possible to fit this between a piece of furniture and a wall, keeping it out of sight.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SIIG CE-MT0012-S1 Black 10" - 24" Fixed LCD TV/Monitor Mount
Pros: I needed a fixed mount that would hold a monitor as close to the wall as possible, and this fit the bill exactly. The back of the monitor appears to be less than a half inch from the wall. All steel construction gives me confidence that it will not fail.
Cons: The only con I can imagine is if it were to get bumped hard, the monitor could fall, as it's two separate pieces that are not fastened together, but one hangs on the other.
Other Thoughts: As long as it's mounted where it won't get bumped or perhaps attacked by the curious, this is a great low-profile mount.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Its small size makes it convenient, and it even has F1-F8, which many small keyboards remove to save space.
Cons: I find the layout awkward. The mouse buttons are so close to the touch pad that I can't get comfortable with it, and with the ALT and Tab keys barely over an inch apart it's difficult to use ALT+Tab switching (something I commonly use all the time). Also, sometimes the mouse cursor repeatedly stops moving after an inch or so.
Other Thoughts: Every mini keyboard must give up something to get small, but this one made some poor choices. I have two others, each of those does some things better
I will keep looking, hoping to find one that works better for me.
