This review is from: PNY A-MH-XX-K01 MHL Adapter
Pros: Cheap, high quality picture and sound, actual name brand
Other Thoughts: As other reviewers have noted, you MUST follow the right sequence to get it to work.
1. Plug in HDMI cable to adapter.
2. Plug in power source to adapter.
3. Plug in adapter to phone.
That's all it should take. If it doesn't work, restart the phone WITH EVERYTHING ATTACHED. After it boots up, you will get a message that says "HDMI adapter connected" or something like it, and boom, there it is on your TV or monitor.
I cannot stress enough that you will probably need to restart your phone at least once to get it to work. After that it should be fine with each subsequent use.
I'm using a Samsung t989, i.e. Galaxy S2 for T-Mobile.
Again, if it doesn't work the first time, RESTART YOUR PHONE with everything attached. That will fix 99% of all problems as it will recognize the adapter on startup.
