This review is from: ASRock 960GC-GS FX AM3+/AM3/AM2+ AMD 760G Micro ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: The only advantages for this motherboard is the ability to support AM2 chips along with DDR2 memory. . I don't own any DDR3 memory but I have about 20GBs of DDR2.
Cons: Very Bad Design. Not made to fit correctly inside a Micro ATX case. No DVI or HDMI ports. The 24 pin power connector is to fare off to one side that you have to remove you drives just to plug the motherboard in. The system panel header is to fare back; you have to stretch the wires or extend them to reach the header. Not only is the system panel to fare away from the the front. Your GPU cooling fan is constantly chewing on the wires, so you have to fasten them to the side of the case. Also the placement of the USB ports are to fare back. If you have a floppy drive like I do, you might as well forget about connecting it due to all the wires being in the way.
Other Thoughts: I would have to say that the N68C-GS FX is a better board then this thing is.
To be honest, the N68C-GS FX is the the board that I was looking for but Newegg was out of stock. and the website stated that there was a never version of this board which stupid me followed and purchased.
The only thing stopping me from sending this board back is the Restocking fee and Shipping fee.
Pros: Light Weight, can be mounted to wall or swivel mounted with correct mounting hardware
Cons: Too many negative reviews.
The only cons that I found was it has very little adjustment to color and the screen tilt is at the wrong angle. I had to place books and CD cases under the stand to tilt it to the correct angle.
Other Thoughts: It will do 1440x900 resolution easily in Vista and Linux. The speakers work just fine, they are just not very loud.
Overall, it's a pretty good monitor but its not as versatile as my Hanns-G monitors are.
Pros: I have purchased many LITE-ON drives in the past and I haven't had any problems at all except for now. READ CONS and OTHER THOUGHTS
Cons: These drivers work just fine on 4.7GB DVD Movies but when you try to burn 8.5GB DVD Movies, you burn nothing but Coasters. It doesn't matter what brand of 8.5GB DVD R you get, they still come out as coasters.
Other Thoughts: I have destroyed over $60 in 8.5GB DVD+R discs with these iHAS and iHAP drives. I own 3 of this pieces of junk.
If you plan on burning 8.5GB DVD movies, drop the iHAS and iHAP drives in the trash and get a LH-20A1 drive instead. The LH-20A1 driver is the best drive I have every used in the past 20 years. I will not purchase another drive from Lite-On unless its a LH-20A1.
