Pros: economical for rock subwoofer
Cons: poor crossover point/slope. Picking up vocals way up into the spectrum. (150-200hz) Driver is way over-rated as far as power handling. Distorded easily on 60w amp which will play on other speakers with no problem.
Other Thoughts: Probably ok if really not a demanding listener or audiophile.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: AudioSource AMP-100 Stereo Amplifier
Other Thoughts: Different manufacturers rate equipment specs differently. Don't compare against Harmon Karden or other quality amplifiers. Bought this amp to go out to deck and put a little more power to outdoor speakers and sub. Big mistake. 10 year old 7.2 Harmon amp that has multi-room capability (that I thought was out-dated and needed upgrading) out-performed this one hands down. I know that this is comparing apples to oranges, but don't believe all of the great sound quality reviews on this amp. Spend another hundred or so and get a good one.READ FULL REVIEW
