Pros: No bottlenecks here.
Cons: Wasn't free
Other Thoughts: For Battlefield 4 I was really worried if this processor would be fast enough, but I was on a budget. Upgraded from AMD Phenom II X3 720. Boy was I pleasantly surprised! This thing is awesome, it's like my nVidia 560Ti has a whole new lease on life. SO MUCH FASTER! Glad I saved the money and got this i5 instead of i7... now I have more money for a better GPU. I don't see this CPU running out of headroom anytime soon.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Easy BIOS config, easy to find drivers on their website, super easy BIOS update tool - downloads and updates from within the BIOS. Couldn't be easier. Feels solid enough for a board in this price range. Auto detected correct RAM speed, HDDs, CPU all perfectly fine without a bunch of tweaking required.
Cons: None that I've found so far.
Other Thoughts: Just wish they made this same model with same features in ATX instead of micro ATX form factor (at the same price point of course, ha!)READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Not a single problem - working great with my Asrock H87M Pro4 motherboard. I didn't have to configure a thing, motherboard saw it as 1600.
Got my pair on sale, was one of the cheapest 8GB kits at the time.
Cons: None that I've found.
Other Thoughts: Judging by other reviews, most problems seem to be with motherboard incompatibilities. Seems that if you have an AMD platform, do your homework first - many don't work with this. But my Asrock H87M Pro4 with Core i5 4570 CPU works perfectly. Crucial has a "guaranteed to work" list of motherboards, luckily mine was on it. Be sure to check it first!READ FULL REVIEW
