Pros: All my OTHER Cougar fans are quiet.
Cons: Not quiet like all my other Cougar fans. No big deal, $14.00 ain't gonna kill me.
Other Thoughts: This one is loud I guess I got a bum fan. I'm not going to fuss with returning and replacing it for $13.00, I'll just get another one in a few weeks. I'll just throw this fan in a box and use it in another build where I don't care as much about the noise.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: ZERO dead pixels. I went with the PLANAR monitor because of the great reviews, and the low numbers of bad reviews, and they are an American company (still not made here, but can't help that with any monitors that I know of)
Very crisp/sharp display, I can now see the tearing when I don't have the vsynch enabled in video games. I couldn't see that on my old monitor.
Desktop real estate!
Cons: Cheesy little stand, the top of which is not flat, so you can't put speakers on it to save desk space. The monitor's speaker(s) are about as bad as those little piezoelectric speakers that they used to put on motherboards for the POST error code beeps. (I didn't buy it for the speakers though so I can't really complain about that).
Other Thoughts: Arrived faster than I expected, paid the 99 cents for the 3 day shipping and got here in two days. All praise to the egg! Upgraded from a PLANAR PL1700M running at 1280x1024 which hat an extremely annoying high pitch sound. I was planning on using that as my command line interface and other stuff screen in Autocad, but I probably won't now that I've played with this huge screen now.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: It moves air. No superfluous lights.
Cons: Used as an exhaust fan. Completely redundant for me, and I don't need the added noise. I am supremely underwhelmed. It's getting unplugged.
Other Thoughts: My Cougar intake fans make this fan completely redundant. Bah.READ FULL REVIEW
