ASUS ENGTX470/2DI/1280MD5/V2 GeForce GTX 470 (Fermi) 1280MB 320-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Pros: This card is simply amazing. Overclocked to 700 core 3400 memory WITHOUT overvolting. The included Asus SmartDoctor software is all I used to achieve this. Using SmartCooling (a setting in SmartDoctor) OC temps hover around 33c idle and 70c full load on Furmark. Overvolting does result in higher temps. Nvidia Tessellation looks absolutely amazing in Heaven Benchmark, and DX11 is nice. Got it for under $200 with rebate and received one as a gift from a friend. SLI allows for a tri-monitor setup, which allows me use 3 1080p monitors for a 5760x1080 res in game! This covers most of my peripheral vision and just looks surreal. The price vs performance of this card absolutely destroys the GTX 480 or 580. The included software has an option for synchronizing with the motherboard, which in my case is an Asus motherboard, which is really nice!

Cons: The fan IS loud at 100%, but realistically never goes that high unless I'm benchmarking for extended periods of time.

Not really a con for the graphics card, because it's usually an extra accessory, but I didn't find case badge stickers. That's fine given it has nothing to do with the performance of the card, which is rock solid. My motherboard sticker currently covers the advertisement for these cards ;)

Other Thoughts: This is the Asus GTX 470 v2. I'm not sure if the second version is any better stability wise, but it does allow for one DVI port to be used for HDMI with audio unlike the previous version. So someone could potentially use 3 large HDTV's and their speakers, which is overkill IMO. NEWEGG IS THE BEST! Couldn't find a great deal like this anywhere else.

5 out of 5 eggs crazy small! 12/02/2010

This review is from: APEX SL-275TFX 275W TFX12V Power Supply

Pros: This thing is:
-One of the smallest form factors I've seen.
-Really quiet.
-Really sturdy.
-In a case with no ventilation, with no problems.
-Highly suggested.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: Get an idea of what this thing will power before buying it. It WILL NOT fail if you use up to its max of 275W. As always, Newegg rocks!

SPARKLE 700020 GeForce 8400 GS 256MB 32-Bit DDR3 PCI HDCP Ready Low Profile Ready Video Card

Pros: Paired this with an atom 330 in my HTPC to watch 1080p videos, and it worked! And the price is good for a pci graphics card.

Cons: Not a gaming card.

Other Thoughts: This card needs 2 slots worth of space, so keep that in mind before buying.
