Pros: Provides 2 ports in a x1 pci-e slot. Speed isn't bad. Same card as the SYBA SY-PEX24028.
Cons: Has a problem with PFSense: when a port is connected to the Internet, it stops working after a few minutes. This problem happened with two different ISPs and internet modems. It may have something to do with the port being placed in 'promiscuous mode', but not sure.
Other Thoughts: The SYBA SD-PEX24033 card does not have this problem.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: When this card works, its very fast and works great with my Seagate Constellation es.2 SAS drives. It has been very reliable, and works with most operating systems.
Cons: This card does not appear to work in any motherboard that comes with a UEFI bios. I've tried in Gigabyte and ASRock boards, and using Centos 6.5, FreeBSD 10, and Ubuntu 12.04 and 14.04. 3Ware and Intel raid cards do not have this problem. I blame this on the LSI firmware. You would think LSI could correct this problem, but they have never bothered.READ FULL REVIEW

Pros: I'm still testing this board, but it runs well except for one problem....
Cons: This board, and and the ESC KBN-i boards have the same problem: if you place certain brands of ram into both slots and run memtest86 or memtest86+, it will fail after several passes. One brand that fails is this:
If you install just one stick of this ram and run memtest86 for hours, it will not fail. Only when both sticks are installed does it fail. And this happens with other brands of ram too, but not all.
You might be better off using just one stick of ram.
