This review is from: Thermaltake CL-W0121 2U Drive Bay Water Cooling System
Pros: Simple all in one kit.
Powerful enough for upgrading.
Included 1366 socket adapter.
Cons: Aluminum Radiator.
Noisy stock fan.
Other Thoughts: I bought this cooler for my CPU which I primarily use for h.264 encoding. (i7 920 @ 3.8Ghz) With a little tweaking this is really and impressive little kit.
I did away with the black tubing (1/4" ID) and quick disconnects and used the 3/8" ID tubing throughout.
I added a second radiator. a swiftech 120mmx2
Then a third with hopes of expanding this loop to my crossfirex 5870 2GB VGA cards.
The pump is silent and appears to be working very well.
My cpu idles at 4 degrees above ambient and sits at 30 degrees higher under load. I believe the limitation is the CPU water block.
This was my first watercooling attempt and this kit made it extremely easy. 3 months strong and no leaks!
Buy with confidence.
