This review is from: BYTECC Aluminum Notebook Cooler NC-500 (USB)
Pros: I purchased this for my laptop after suffering thru a cheap plastic job in which the fan kept on wacking against the plastic shell and the wiring within six months starting pulling out of the fans. (OK, I travelled with it; it's a laptop, right?)
This product is solid.
First of all, it works right out of the box. The aluminium tray not only protects the fan, but also draws heat away from the laptop (which is why so many heat sinks are composed of aluminium). The fans run on energy from the laptop's usb port. The plug is strong and provides a usb port of its own so that you don't lose a port. (And the usb port is not cheapo; it's completely 2.0 compatible. I've attached external drives to it and moved data rather quickly, and charged my cell phone from it.)
All in all, a great investment. As an IT pro, I recommend this product to my clients.

Pros: I can't say. The memory configurator was wrong; these sticks don't work in the Dell Dimension 4600C. Wrong kind.
Cons: They didn't work as advertised. Now I am stuck with them as the 30 day guarantee only extends to a replacement. The worst is, when I called customer service, they said that their own memory configurator doesn't always return the correct data. 's up widdat?
Other Thoughts: I also bought two sticks of 1GB, also from G-Skill, for my home-built machine running Ubuntu. Works fine.
I expect these sticks work fine... in the machines they're built for.
NewEgg needs to adjust the search returns on its memory configurator.
This review is from: CORSAIR Flash Voyager 16GB USB 2.0 Flash Drive Model CMFUSB2.0-16GB
Pros: This is a great backup tool. I can backup our home data (2 desktops & one laptop) into three image files that fit nicely on the 16GB thumb drive. Each of my PCs has a different OS (XP, Vista & Ubuntu), and there's not compatibility problems.
Cons: None I can think of.
Other Thoughts: March is the cruellest month, like an unstable OS.READ FULL REVIEW
