Pros: Easy setup. Interface is so simple, a novice should have no problem setting it up. Looks cool.
Cons: Dropped wired packets today, constantly dropped wireless packets since install. Internet requests on smartphones are left hanging on a consistent basis, regardless of 5GHz or 2GHz connection.
Interface is oversimplified. You can't dig into anything and change the settings you want without gigantic pictures and ineffective menus placed everywhere.
Wireless problems started immediately after install, which was not the same time as the purchase date, so it is now ineligible for refund. Wired connection problems only started today, exactly 36 days from purchase date.
Obviously the price is a con since the router doesn't even work properly. It's not like this is a budget router, this is a flagship router from D-LINK.
Other Thoughts: I definitely do not recommend this router. Not consistent. I'd prefer a budget device with consistently slow throughput than inconsistent "quick bursts" of speed with service loss.
In fact, due to this experience and this router, I will never suggest a D-LINK product again.
Pros: Fits all of my components with no problem. Houses my 535W ATX power supply perfectly.
Exactly the amount of space that I need, no waste.
