This review is from: SanDisk Extreme SDSSDX-120G-G25 2.5" 120GB SATA III Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: Looks like all the other SSDs.
Cons: None, so far.
Other Thoughts: I have many other SSD drives in my other PCs at home and at work, some way more expensive than this, and nothing slices through boot up and programs like this drive. I just don't know why. I haven't bothered to run benchmarks, but it instantly noticeable.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Cheap, Easy to set up, nice range, good repeater function
Cons: None yet
Other Thoughts: Hooked two of these puppies up as a repeater/base setup to improve range from one end of my home to a basement office on the other end. Carefully adjusted all settings as directed and worked like a charm right away.
I hope these last a long time, but even if they worked for 12 months, at $20 or $30 for each, I'm way ahead of the game. We'll see.
Was around $300 at the time I bought it
Cons: Has locked up the computer several times
Some timing issues playing the Freecell card game
Other Thoughts: When you buy any drive, you naturally expect to have no issues with the drive or the computer, if it worked well with a regular hard drive, you should be able to run an SSD just as reliably.
I have tried to get this drive to run right by every tweak I could find online, and it still has some strange behavior at times. While it works correctly much of the time, the frequent strange behavior makes me think I will ultimately sell it and try something else.
