EDIMAX EW-7733UnD Wireless Dual-Band Adapter IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n USB 2.0 Up to 450Mbps Wireless Data Rates
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Fantastic wireless adapter! Just about always connected at 450Mbps on 5G band. If it doesn't it will eventually get back to 450Mbps in a short time. Worth the price paid. This adapter works when others haven't at their stated data rates.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Paired with an Asus RT-N66U router.

Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2012

5 out of 5 eggs Super easy upgrade 05/30/2012

This review is from: Intuit QuickBooks Pro 2012

Pros: This Quickbooks 2012 version has the sense to look at the PC's realtime clock for the current date when invoicing. GREAT!
All you need is a decent computer that is up to date with Microsoft updates and to update Quickbooks before you upgrade with an existing company file from an older version. When I installed Quickbooks 2012 it was fully updated after one update session. It easily accepted my Quickbooks 2000 company file for upgrade and converted it flawlessly. All you complainers need to know what your doing or hire someone that does!

Cons: NONE

BUFFALO AirStation HighPower N300 Gigabit Wireless Router - WZR-HP-G300NH
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: N-speeds, Gigabit Lan ports, Very good wireless range

Cons: Like other reviewers have said, clunky web interface, but once it's setup your not going to be using the web interface much anyway.

Other Thoughts: I was really apprehensive about upgrading my network to 802.11N. The Buffalo WHR-HP-G54 router I was using worked so well with DD-WRT firmware. This was not the case with stock Buffalo firmware on it. I had VOIP problems and had nothing to loose but try DD-WRT. This Buffalo router doesn't have any DD-WRT support so I immediately upgraded the firmware to 1.65. I haven't seen any problems that other reviewers have had. Buffalo 1.65 firmware must have fixed all issues.
