ASUS P8H67-M LX (REV 3.0) LGA 1155 Intel H67 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX Intel Motherboard
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: It just works. With MEMok technology, any memory works as well (which used to not be the case with ASUS boards).

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: excellent motherboard. I was able to install 8GB of unsupported RAM (Asus prints and maintains a list of officially supported Ram) and it recognized it all and didn't even question it. The newly redesigned BIOS is nice and the features are wonderful.

Mushkin Enhanced Silverline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1333 (PC3 10666) Desktop Memory Model 996770
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Very Fast, immediately compatible with my ASUS board, even though Mushkin isn't on the list of officially supported mem.

Cons: none yet

Other Thoughts: Nice heat spreaders also make this look good. Work great.

ARCTIC Freezer 7 Pro Rev. 2, CPU Cooler - Intel & AMD, Multi-Directional Mount, 92mm PWM Fan
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

Pros: Large, Bulky, Solid build, Ample Thermal Paste (don't need to buy separately), powerful

Cons: uses a ton of power (130 Watt). Be sure to check your Motherboard and verify that the CPU fan jack can supply the full 130 watts of power. I had to retire this because my motherboard only provided 35 watts of power to the CPU fan.
