Pros: affordable (purchased on sale).
well designed and constructed.
very quiet, my cpu fan is much louder.
much cooler temps than the stock heatsink/fan.
Cons: provided thermal epoxy is not a 2 step poxy and didn't seem to cure well. i purchased some 3m 8815 thermal tape as an affordable solution to attach the ram heatsinks.
Other Thoughts: installation was very simple and straight forward.
the pcb appeared to have limited flexing when using the provided spacers on a pny 560ti.
This review is from: Razer BlackShark Over Ear Noise Isolating PC Gaming Headset
Pros: comfortable and well designed; easy to move the mic boom around without feeling like it's going to break or get damaged.
has great sound quality overall.
needs a splitter; that would be fine if you did not want to use the existing mic and would want a small clip-on mic or something like that i guess. i just fear losing the splitter in a move or a lan party.
bass can muddy other tones sometimes without configuration.
Other Thoughts: the mic did require extensive tweaking for it not to catch background noise from the room or the headphones themselves.
the razer surround synapse tool has a profile for these headphones (as well as other razer headphones) and works really well to clean up the mic clarity and add a surround sound effect to the headphones.
Pros: great value per price point (especially now).
stays reasonably cool.
great warranty through pny.
Cons: none so far!
Other Thoughts: runs great in my x64 xubuntu system using the nvidia binary driver setup for dual monitors.READ FULL REVIEW
