This review is from: Samsung 840 EVO MZ-7TE1T0BW 2.5" MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
Pros: I upgraded to this SSD because I grew tired of swapping out 5.25 inch floppy diskettes. Even though they were double sided, double density, 360 KB just doesn't cut it any more based on the storage requirements of some operating systems and programs these days. I thought about upgrading to a 3.5 inch floppy drive, but I believe that this is the better, more cost-effective option. The TLC NAND flash memory is definitely faster and more efficient than the magnetic medium that I am used to. My computer went from 125 kbit/s to 540 MB/s seq reads in one computer upgrade. And this SSD is so much quieter, no more noise during disk read and write operations. What a difference!
Cons: No accessories like mounting hardware
Other Thoughts: There is technology that has been introduced in the past that makes me stop and say, "Woooaahh" and this is one of them. Like when graphics cards replaced software to produce 3D images at acceptable frame rates. Or when everyone went from dial-up internet to super-fast cable connections. You know what I mean. Well this is an upgrade that you cannot pass up. It is so fast and efficient that motherboard manufacturers are now incorporating this technology directly onto the PCB.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: BitFenix Shinobi XL Window Black Steel / Plastic ATX Full Tower Computer Case
Pros: Somehow all the other reviews on this item are suddenly gone (there were many pages of reviews). WHATEVER. I was researching this and the NZXT Switch 810 for water cooling purposes. While I do like the design and I was able to get TWO 360 rads in this, it definitely is not enough based on my current hardware installed.
Cons: Received this item with a broken side panel, the window was cracked and broken in multiple places. And the panel did not fit well on the side, the screw holes did not line up. I contacted BifFenix about a replacement side panel and their response was, "Contact the manufacturer to begin the RMA process." Umm, isn't that what I am doing now? Anyway, it wasn't worth it to ship this item back to Newegg.
Other Thoughts: I will probably NOT purchase another BitFenix product again in the future.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Technology that powers the world's fastest supercomputer! No need to watercool this bad girl, the vapor chamber uses water to transfer heat away. Such beautiful design, precision manufacturing with quality materials...why would you replace it with an ugly waterblock? If you are reading this, then you probably already know about the power and performance of this beast. From my own experience, this graphics card replaces TWO GeForce GTX 570 graphics cards in SLI--what an upgrade! The Titan is about 30-40% faster in most games. It throttles up to 1045 MHz until it reaches the designated temp, then operates at 928 MHz boost clock. Consistent 30-50 fps in Crysis 3 at max settings, same for Far Cry 3 at 1920 x 1080. After drivers mature, I believe that this will be faster than a GTX 690. Overall, I am so happy with this technology that I JUST ORDERED ANOTHER ONE! Next upgrade is 2560 x 1600 monitor!
Cons: What the original Kepler was supposed to be! The GPU defaults to 324 MHz which I think is excessive to run just Windows 7 Aero, etc.
¡Es my carro!
Other Thoughts: Received this item from the CA warehouse in TWO days from order date! That is 2679 miles in less than 48 hours! That is FAST for 3-day UPS shipping. Newegg ROCKS! Recieved item and all accessories in perfect working condition! And the shirt fits!READ FULL REVIEW
