This review is from: G.SKILL 32GB microSDHC Flash Card w/ SD Adapter Model FF-TSDG32GA-C10
Pros: The speed is very good - enough to shot full HD video on canon 60D. Never notice an on-screen indicator (Canon 60D has such feature during filming) showing the slow writing speed. Unless 'SanDisk 32GB Ultra SDHC Class 10 card', which was causing my video STOP constantly after couple of seconds (see my review), this G.SKILL is true class 10 (writing speed is up to 15 MB/s) and yet it is micro SD card!!!
Cons: It corrupted on me once when was using in a tablet as an extended memory. I used it to store videos and watched them on-the-go. So once, after couple of days watching, I was able to get access to the card but it was completely empty with all the info gone. I formatted it and since that it works well.
Other Thoughts: I bought two of this cards and would recommend to everyone (even better than full size Sandisk ultra). Minus one egg for corrupting once (see description above).READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: SanDisk 32GB Ultra SDHC UHS-I Card - Class 10 30MB/s
Pros: - Well, it is Sandisk (used to be a very dependable brand).
- One can use it for taking photos (not HD video) but why limit yourself?
Cons: NOT a claimed CLASS 10! So cannot capture HD video!
Other Thoughts: This card functions, but I cannot use it for what I bought it, which is taking video with EOS 60D. Almost every recording I start will eventually stop with the massage on the screen "Movie recording has been stopped automatically." Sometimes I could not capture even couple of seconds. Even when I got lucky and the recording lasted longer, the buffer indicator bar is on the screen constantly (appears when the recording speed is slow and not efficient). It seems like the speed of this card is terribly inconsistent and most of the time is significantly below 10MB/s.
I bought 2 of these cards. They both behave exactly the same way and considering of some other peoples' reviews its not just the single bad card -- it's how they work.
Overall very bad product from well known brand. I spent almost $60 for 2 of these cards and cannot use them for what I intended. G**ill that I bought later for $20 works as a charm showing speed up to 15 MB/s and yet it is micro SD card! Will never buy Sandisk products again. Thank you.
Pros: Nice card reader when it works, 3 USB 2.0 (even designed for USB 3.0 which stated in specs on Rosewill website, but I did't try it with USB 3.0 yet)
Cons: DOA. Card readers did't work, just USB ports was OK.
Other Thoughts: Thanks to Newegg for their service! The second unit was OK.READ FULL REVIEW
