This review is from: Kingston DataTraveler 100 G3 8GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model DT100G3/8GB
Pros: It has 8gb of space.
Cons: It runs slower than my USB 2.0 drive I've been using for years. I've tried it on 3 different computers, in the blue USB 3.0 ports. It consistently transfers at 8.0MB/s, which is extraordinarily slow. USB 2.0 can transfer 2-3x that fast. USB 3.0 should be able to transfer many more multiples of times faster.
What good is USB 3.0 if the device itself is SLOWER than 2.0?
Other Thoughts: For me, this drive is worthless. I already have a stack of USB thumb drives that are USB 2.0. The sole and only reason I bought this one was for increased speed, which I did not get.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Relatively lightweight compared to bigger coolers - less stress on motherboard.
Mounting equipment for second fan included.
CPU runs very cool.
Not loud despite 80mm fan.
Cons: 1. Instructions for mounting bracket are pathetic. You'd think they would hire someone who can write usable instructions at least once. It was purely trial and error putting it together. Not as complicated as the Hyper 212 which suffers from the same terrible instructions.
2. Still uses that stupid Intel push-n-twist design which, as best I can tell, is designed to put insane amounts of force on the board during installation. Plus, you have to triple-check to make sure the clips are actually clipped. Should have used a screw-through design since the backplate was replaced anyway. Would be more reliable.
Pros: It's an SSD.
Cons: Not compatible with Haswell. Do not buy if you own or plan to own a Haswell CPU.
Other Thoughts: Be forewarned it will not work with Haswell.READ FULL REVIEW
