MASSCOOL UHB-2233 Aluminum 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: Small, light, cute.

Cons: I have an SSD installed in it, formatted to NTFS. Works on my Win 7 PC, but only in USB 2.0 port. The USB 3 ports will not see it.

My iMac with only USB3 ports will not recognize it at all! Not nearly what I intended, but there is no point in RMAing it, because it was so inexpensive.

ECS NGT440-512QI-F1 GeForce GT 440 (Fermi) 512MB 128-Bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready Video Card
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: My mobo has built-in ATi 4250 graphics and my Windows Experience Index was 4.6 for Graphics and 5.6 for Gaming Graphics. Certainly not spectacular, by any means. Installed this card and the numbers went to 6.8 for both! It runs very quietly and doesn't generate enough heat to worry about. Love it!

Cons: Not as powerful as the top-of-the-line cards, but who can afford $500.00 for one of those??!!

Other Thoughts: Can't beat the improvement in performance. Most bang for the buck you can find!

5 out of 5 eggs Great fix for blown motherboard Ethernet port! 03/29/2012

This review is from: Rosewill RC-401-EX Network Card Gigabit Low Profile 10/ 100/ 1000Mbps PCI-Express 1 x RJ45

Pros: Works perfectly. Windows 7 installed it seamlessly with no fuss.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: This was installed in an 2-month old H-P desktop that had the Ethernet port killed by a lightning strike on the DSL line. There was no IDE slot on the motherboard, only PCI-Express slots. This card filled the bill nicely.
