Pros: Resolution : 1920x1080
Graphics Card: 760M (Can Run League of Legends everything maxed out at 60 fps, skyrim on high with some graphic enhancing mods at ~35fps)
Also very slick nice build, really like the light up keyboard, pretty good battery life(about 5 hours when not gaming maybe 6)
Cons: I only have 1 major problem with this laptop. And it is disappointing to know that companies, even ASUS, will throw a 5400 RPM hard drive on at $1200 laptop. It's really the only thing that made me think twice about purchasing it. I will be replacing it eventually to either a 2tb HDD or 512 SSD, but it's the fact that I have to do it myself and it doesn't have at least a 7200RPM HDD when it comes to me brand new.
Other Thoughts: Overall great laptop, only complaint is the hard drive. ASUS did a good job with this one.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: When I went shopping for a laptop, I was looking for something that can come close to keeping up with my desktop. So obviously 17.3 screen size was mandatory for me as a gamer.
My desktop's specs are as followed:
That's just the basics. Anyways this laptop runs close to the speed of that. I'm very happy with my purchase especially that I got it while it was on sale for $680. When I for the same specs elsewhere I would find prices in the $750 and higher. This was a good price for what I got.
Cons: Only complaint is what you might see as in others. The microphone placement is near to your WASD placement for gaming. Though if you're a true gamer like myself then you should have a headset.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I don't even know where to start on how amazing this card is. It's anything you will ever need to run any game for at least the next 2 years. It runs anything from League of Legends to Metro 2033.
Now the reason I titled this review with "and then some!" in it, is because Nvidia recently announced their newest product, Nvidia Shield. This is a handheld gaming devices that processes PC games with your graphics cards. The catch is it has to bee a 600 series to run the software. I was pleased when they announced this and realize that this will give me the opportunity to use that device without having to make another upgrade.
Overall this card does everything I need it to and then some when it comes to gaming.
From a gamer, to gamers, this is a good card.
Cons: None.READ FULL REVIEW
