This review is from: Fantom Drives GreenDrive 3TB USB 2.0 / eSATA 3.5" External Hard Drive GD3000EU
Pros: Didn't use, so can't comment.
Cons: Didn't use, so can't comment.
Other Thoughts: I just want Phantom Drives to know, that after reading negative reviews for their customer service, I sent this drive right back.
I do not want to support companies with bad customer service or who make the customer jump hoops in order to obtain warranty service.
Some reviewers indicated when their drives failed under warranty, you must send them the drive at your own cost for them to inspect first and then they determine whether or not they will honor the warranty; if they don't, you must pay a $45 diagnostic fee. Sorry Phantom, this is unacceptable. You just lost a sale.
Drives fail, but there is no excuse for poor customer service.
This review is from: Dead Space PC Game
Pros: Hope to some day find out, looks pretty cool. Will not purchase game because of the ridiculous DRM situation.
Cons: DRM. Thanks to the other thoughtful reviewers for reminding me of this situation.
There was this and another EA game I was thinking of purchasing, but I will not.
I stand in solidarity to boycott EA and others until they stop this. Vote with your wallet.
Other Thoughts: I wish to quote another reviewer who said it best: EA has once again riuned a good game with a form of DRM. It is the most unforgiving and terrible form of DRM... SecureROM. I implore any and all persons who may buy this game to wait, boycott EA products until they no longer feature DRM. With time and patience one day games will be free of this freedom/consumer killing force fed bullsh!t. DRM is a direct insult to and restriction of rights we have as legitimate consumers.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Patriot Xporter XT Boost 4GB Flash Drive (USB2.0 Portable) Model PEF4GUSB
Pros: So far it works good. I kind of bent it a little once by accident while it was plugged into my USB port and it survived just fine.
Transferring data TO the Xporter the rate maxed out at about 12.8 MB/Sec on my system . Transfered a 1.37 Gig file in about 1.5 minutes. It's faster the other way round. It's all black rubber coated, and it LOOKS FREAKING COOL!!1
Comes with nice extras: a lanyard(cord to hang around your neck or hang yourself with) and a short USB extension cord to get into tight USB ports. Did I mention it looks FREAKING COOL!!1
Cons: Rubber cap kinda feels like it might come off (probably fine tho). Loop through which the lanyard would go through is pure rubber and seems like it might rip if you tug on it hard. Ur mom
Other Thoughts: 16 gb flash drives are looking mighty tempting now. My system: Vista premium; Q6600 CPU; 8800GTS vid card; Crucial Ballistix DDR2 800; 250GB Seagate SATA driveREAD FULL REVIEW
