Pros: Low cost for H170 chipset Intel Skylake board.
Has all the features I need.
Cons: 1 Not sure if boards fault or case manufacturer, but the case had expanded dimples for motherboard mounting which shorted something on the bottom of the board so it wouldn't boot. Used electrical tape to insulate.
2 Loading Win 7 drivers for USB ports to work is a difficult process.
Other Thoughts: I used Windows 7 home premium to get Windows Media Center for whole house DVR function. Win 10 drops WMC.
If you are using WIN 10, perhaps the drivers would not be an issue? Be sure to flash latest bios.
Pros: Fits in tight vertical clearance for mini-itx builds. Kept i3-6100 cpu temperature to 61c in normal use.
Cons: 1 Fan was audible from several feet away. Not terrible, but not what I was looking for in an always on HTPC / DVR.
2 Delivery is from Asia. I paid premium price for delivery, yet it was sent by e-packet mail and took 8 days to arrive?
Other Thoughts: Ultimately decided not to use it and bought Noctua NH-L9i. It cost a lot more, but you get what you pay for.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: For 65w i3-6100 cpu and on board video with SSD, the fan doesn't even need to run, making for a silent build.
Other Thoughts: Was a perfect fit to replace a 220 watt power supply of lower quality that came included with a mini-itx case and had some fan noise.READ FULL REVIEW
