TOSHIBA 1TB Canvio Basics 3.0 Portable Hard Drive USB 3.0 Model HDTB210XK3BA Black
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Cheap. Did have 1 TB storage as described.

Cons: Repeatedly drops from PC. Asks to be formatted constantly. Detachable cable becomes unplugged easily. Unreliable. Slow transfer speed (20 MBps on USB 3.0 port) Toshiba's answer for warranty is replacement or coupon.

Other Thoughts: I had a Toshiba Satellite 1805 laptop years ago and it was terrible. Decided to give Toshiba a second chance. I should've trusted my gut and bought a Western Digital.

Pioneer SE-CL331-Y 3.5mm Connector Canal Water-Resistant Stereo Earbud Earphone for sports (Yellow)
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good price for brand name headphones. Fit well and durable. Can handle punishment from the elements and still produce a rich sound. Owned for nearly a year and has not started to cut out due to wire wear.

Cons: Even though the cord is slightly longer than other typical headphones, the cord is a little short for pants pockets.

ENCORE ENEWI-2XN45 Wireless N300 Adapter with Two 5 dBi antennas, IEEE 802.11b/g/ n 2.0 PCI Express Up to 300Mbps
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good Price. Easy Installation. Great Transfer Rate.

Cons: Tried to set up WPA2 security-would not connect to internet. Only local network. Would with WPA and WEP, and even open, just not WPA2 personal OR Enterprise.

Other Thoughts: I know what you're thinking; I didn't troubleshoot. WRONG! I updated the drivers-NG. I even loaded the chipset drivers (Realtek 8192ce)-NG. I thought, "Maybe it's the OS." Installed on Windows 7 64-bit, so I booted into Windows XP 32-bit-NG. Installed it into another PC-NG. Looked on Encore forums and support-nothing. No matter what I tried, this card would not allow an internet connection on WPA2 encryption. Don't know if I got a bad card, or if this is just a flaw in the driver.
