This review is from: Rosewill R-BM-01 2-Pound Programmable Bread Maker, White
Pros: Makes a decent loaf of bread quickly, pretty much no-maintenance, pretty versatile
Cons: Most of the time, you have to set it to "Dark" setting to get many types of bread fully-cooked, manual is pretty incomprehensible at times
Other Thoughts: I've had this bread machine for about half a year, and it makes pretty tasty bread very quickly. The 1.5lb quick setting takes only an hour and is just as good as the longer cycle (you just need to use fast-rise yeast for that setting, and make sure the water is lukewarm).
The manual that comes with the bread maker is kind of hard to read. The good news is, this bread maker is essentially the exact same item (just rebranded and relabeled) as a Sunbeam 5891 bread maker. The manual for that model can be found easily with a Google search, and it's much better. I usually end up using that manual instead of the one that comes with this one.
So, overall, this is a pretty decent bread maker for the price point it's at. It's not a high-end model by any means, but it puts out a reliable loaf of bread that tastes much better than any store-bought bread.
This review is from: Acer A231H bd Black 23" 5ms Widescreen LCD Monitor 300 cd/m2 ACM 80000:1 (1000:1)
Pros: Very nice monitor for the price. If you want a larger monitor, but don't have a need for HDMI, this is a great choice. It comes with a very good quality power cord and a decently-sized VGA cable (a lot of refurb monitors out there these days don't have the cable included).
Cons: The only con I can think of is that there was an extremely faint, tiny hairline scratch on the screen. After the backlight comes on, it's impossible to see it, though, and I can't take an egg off for that when the monitor came at such a good price.
Other Thoughts: I've almost exclusively used Acer monitors since I bought my first LCD monitor many years ago. Refurbished or not, they've never let me down when it comes to quality.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: Excellent price-per-GB value, and the upgrade bundle's external USB/SATA enclosure makes it well worth the price difference over the non-upgrade bundle
Cons: Never got the Acronis drive cloning software to work
Other Thoughts: This drive's price-per-GB value is phenomenal, and the upgrade bundle's inclusion of a USB/SATA enclosure only makes it that much better. The included pen-style screwdriver is also very handy for those times when I'm on-the-go repairing a computer.
The only problem I had with this item was that the Acronis True Image software CD that came with the drive never worked. I was able to boot from the disc, but it kept claiming that it couldn't find any drives, even though I had this drive and another SSD drive in the computer. It may just be an incompatibility with my motherboard, so I only took one egg off.
