Pros: Small footprint, low power, good video card, great for home media. I have mine mounted behind the HDTV and can't even tell I have a PC behind it
Cons: only one memory slot, so to upgrade memory, (a highly recommended upgrade), you need to replace the 2GB stick with a 4GB stick. I have also replaced the hard drive with a 120GB SSD. That added $130 to this build.
Other Thoughts: After doing those upgrades this box is great, (It will not game, Minecraft even struggles)-but the boot time is fast, apps open quick, and Windows Media Center plays all my HD movies perfect. Open Office works well, I even have orb streamer working on it.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: All of the features that I wanted: 20.1 screen, tv tuner, 2gb ram and raid 0. I mostly wanted the screen size to replace my desktop at work. I did even find a carring case at "the p---h" that is working great. I am one of those dorks that carry this monster back and forth from work. It is heavy buy not too bad.
Cons: This doesn't come with Software CD's at all- other then the raid driver and raid app. The first time you boot it up, it will have you make your own recovery disks with 7 cd's or 2 dvd's.
You have to perform a bios update to enable raid, then it will have you install the raid app in windows. LAME!!!
Other Thoughts: I gave this 4 stars because of the trouble with the raid and didn't come with the XP install cd's but after you get the install out of the way this laptop is just as fast as my desktop. It even works well for most games even with the nvidia 7600 go video card. Don't get too excited about the speakers and the subwoofer, it still sounds like a laptop. The keyboard is a little floppy so I am using a blutooth keyboard and mouse at work, but on the go or at home it does work fine. Overall for its size and components for the price, I think, is the best laptop out there.READ FULL REVIEW
