XIGMATEK FCB (Fluid Circulative Bearing) Cooling System XLF-F1254 120mm White LED Black Case Fan PSU Molex Adapter/extender included
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Decent fan. Runs quiet and fine air movement.

Cons: My unit did not have the holes drilled for the screws, so it currently does not fit in my case properly. Disappointing.

Cooler Master Dual Ball Bearing 80mm Cooling Fan for Computer Cases and CPU Coolers
  • Verified Owner
  • neweggOwned For: 1 month to 1 year

Pros: Good power for the size of the unit. It actually works better than the 120mm that I later bought (because I bought the wrong size).

Cons: Runs a little loud.

5 out of 5 eggs Excellent alternative to wireless 11/28/2012

This review is from: TRENDnet TPL-306E2K Compact Powerline AV Adapter Kit Up to 200Mbps

Pros: Easy installation and works like a charm. I have one adapter plugged into wall next to my desktop PC's router for home network action. Have successfully tested the other adapter at multiple outlets in home for a laptop with no issues. Installed the utility software and am getting speeds of 140 Mbps, which is actually more than I expected (I thought I might get 100 Mbps based on some internet research). So I am a happy camper!

Cons: Ethernet cables are a bit short. You may need to supplement the product with your own cable(s) for further distances from an outlet.

Other Thoughts: Definitely a worthy alternative to wireless in your home. Not only is it faster and more reliable, but my wife and I do not like the idea of constantly being bombarded by radio frequency waves from within our own home (no one can control the outside world of course).
