Pros: Adata finally got the newest firmware for our signature drives. All 10 drives are updated to 5.25 firmware and work much better. Adata pulled through, and i am now eating humble pie.
Cons: Wish the update process was iso based like OCZ, so it's os independent. Stinks having to do the update on an intel chipset with windows 7 32 bit because nothing else will do the update correctly.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: On paper drives look nice. and 5 out of 10 working as advertised is nothing to brag about.
We purchased 10 of these. All a little slow and unstable. 5 of them we were able to run the new 5.25 firmware update on, and they worked MUCH better. the other 5 drives, were unsupported by the firmware update. After Multiple emails with adata tech support, we were notified that the signature on the drives was unsupported by adata and they had no firmware update available for the other 5. They offered for me to send them in to have them RMA'd but they are in use in school computers for testing, and we have no spares. Sad to see a drive that the manufacturer doesn't support their own products, and there only remedy is send in 5 drives and wait it out until they can send a replacement.
Other Thoughts: You decide.. I am finished with adata products all together. There are many other good companies that would have offered more options especially in our situation. But to adata we are not a valued customer, as all adata customers should be. We are just an email address that, requires a normal generated response. :(READ FULL REVIEW
