This review is from: AVS Gear W9870 USB Wired Slim Large Print LED Keyboard
Pros: Evenly lit LED's. Looks good in the dark or in the light. Keys feel nice to press. Isn't extremely light/cheap feeling. Hot keys work with Windows 8.1 with no issues.
Cons: Ok, I consider this a good keyboard for most people. But for me.... I find myself wanting to bash it into the wall because of the compact key layout. Its frustrating hitting the home key when you want to backspace. Or hitting end when you need arrow over to the right. Or hitting \ when you meant ALT. hitting PG down instead of enter.
Granted this is not a legit con as I could clearly see the pictures before buying. I am just calling it a con because of how much it frustrates me that I keep missing keys lol...
Other Thoughts: the fact that it has LED's and is overall a decent product doesn't negate the fact that I wish I had gotten something a little more familiar feeling. Im not going to return on it on the basis that I have buyers remorse though. I'll get used to it.READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: Pioneer VSX-519V-K 5.1-Channel A/V Receiver
Pros: It powers most speakers under the sun just fine. At one point in time, I used it in an emergency to power 2 18" DJ speakers for 4 hours straight. I was very impressed at its ability to project so much power though those giant speakers in that gymnasium. No, I'm not a professional but I can tell you that this is very reliable. Me and my friends have had TONS and TONS of luck with Pioneer. Especially this item in particular.
Cons: The main speaker connectors are annoying and cause the wires to get in the way of other things... Just seems like a stupid design. However its behind the stereo so I realllllly don't care.
Other Thoughts: I bought this at a garage sale 4 years ago for $40. Best purchase ever.READ FULL REVIEW
