Pros: It seemed cheap and a good solution... if possible just get 1 large external hard drive(premade), or stick the drives in your computer. Paying $50 extra for this bad raid is not good.
Cons: The 'raid' is not true raid. It is imitation raid that causes many headaches and problems. One being to get it into raid mode not only do you have to put the dip switches in the correct position, but it will still not work until you use Orico HW raid manager to setup the raid array. Not only did this required software NOT come with the unit, but Oricos website that is half in chinese doesn't host it either. Once you do get the software you will notice it only runs on windows and hasn't been updates in many years. Nice how the description never says it requires windows to use raid or normal features. Also the drive auto powers down every 2 minutes unless you use the software (VERY ANNOYING). Even after using the software the drive STILL powers down when I was using my raid 5 array. Many times only a few drives in the array would show up, and I had to seriously hope it wasn't corrupting my data. Orico support is virtually non-existent. Due to the awful raid speeds and the fact if the raid array ever died, I seriously have no hope that a USB fake raid could successfully rebuild (if the raid controller died you would have to buy another one of these to even have a chance at getting your data back), I stopped using the raid function at all and hoped using this unit in single drive mode would fare better. NOPE. This unit is always shutting down and sometimes takes multiple attempts for it to power up correctly. I can hear it trying to power up and failing and all the heads crashing as it fails. Very Bad for the hard drives. Sometimes it takes 5 power cycles before it can get running when the computer starts up and sometimes it never even tries to startup and I have to go behind my computer and reconnect it. Then even after a while the drive randomly disconnects. If you plan on loading software or other sensitive path content onto this, just don't do it. The drive letters get changed around if anything new is connected and boom all your shortcuts are borked. This unit also even though it has a fan pulls next to no air through it since there are not really any holes in the front for the air to go through. Furthermore the unit is made of the cheapest metal in the land, the screws strip easily, this is not hot swappable, the metal the case is so chinsy and even depending on the angle you stick a drive in the bay gouges of metal can be wedged out (just be careful and you can avoid this). Since the metal is so cheap and thin all the hard drive noises can be heard fairly loud depending on how close you are to the orico.
Other Thoughts: Windows software raid sucks, orico fake raid sucks, I don't want to lose my data, probably going to send this unit back and just stick the drives in my computer.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I had the CM Sentinel 2 before this and the paint came off twice! So far with this version they seemed to have fixed this problem. The top metal grate is now coated with plastic so it won't come off and they say the paint is higher quality on the body. So far so good! Other then that even the 2 was a amazing mouse. I love how it is really made for large handed palm grippers unlike most popular gaming mice now. Go and look up the #1 sellers and its the RAT and other little dinky small mice not made for palm grip and all my fingers drag on the mouse pad. I love how this has a sleek look and they didn't add 9999999 buttons. Also they added a color scrolling into the improved software so now it can rainbow through all the colors to jive with your favorite RGB keyboards! I wished the 2 had that function... I am glad they are improving based on comments.
Cons: They fixed the only con in version 3. I will update reviews if the paint starts to go.
Other Thoughts: Highly recommend for large handed or just palm grippers in general. Would buy again.READ FULL REVIEW
Pros: I have had this thing pretty much since it came out. It performs AMAZING. I flashed it with the Zotac AMP edition BIOS that costs $100+ more and it works even better! Now the default clocks are much higher and so are the boost clocks. This thing tears most other 970s a new one with the zotac bios. It even gives the 980 a run for its money.
Cons: Nvidia lied to us about the 3.5GB ram and the ROP unit count. If this card truly had what nvidia promised it would outpacing a 980 easily.
Other Thoughts: I can run every game on max settings across triple 1080p monitors in full 60+ fps glory. This is a suitable upgrade from my 6950 flashed to a 6970 that lasted me many years. Long live asus their products last FOREVER. I have never had to RMA a asus so I couldn't even tell you about it. My mobo and tripple monitors are also asus.READ FULL REVIEW
