PNY Optima SSD7SC240GOPT-RB 2.5
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 week to 1 month

Pros: I ordered two of these drives while they were shellshocker and had PNY rebates and got a amazing deal. When They arrived I put them into a RAID 0 array and installed a clean copy of windows 8.1 on them. All I can say is WOW!!! These speeds are like 5x better then my old kingston 64GB SSD and worlds beyond HDD performance. In benchmark speed tests with two drives I hit just about 1GB/S read speed and 670MB/S write speed. Performance like this is amazing because my pc boots in no time and programs load insanely fast.

Cons: None, so far these have had great reliability. Kinda wish they were in a standard size like 250GB but oh well when I got such a amazing deal.

Other Thoughts: These are a good investment for any gaming pc or person with a older laptop that needs a bit of a boost.

1 out of 5 eggs Lol 06/19/2014

This review is from: Gloria Jean's Coffees French Vanilla 96 K-cups

Pros: that will be the day when I pay $1 for a cup of coffee in my own house!

Cons: pretty much $1 a cup and you still have to brew it yourself.

TOSHIBA DT01ACA100 1TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 6.0Gb/s 3.5
  • Owned For: more than 1 year

Pros: It didn't kill anyone...

Cons: I have owned many toshiba, WD, Quantum, Maxtor, and Seagate drives and let me tell you my Toshiba drive was the only one for the sata connector to randomly fall off making my drive useless. Too bad I had family pictures on it, important work information, and documents I needed to get to. Oh I was only 2 months over the warranty and they refused to give me the part to fix it.

Other Thoughts: Never go with Toshiba go with WD, Seagate, or anything else.
