5 out of 5 eggs Well built, as usual. 06/28/2015

This review is from: CORSAIR Survivor Stealth 64GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model CMFSS3-64GB

Pros: 5 year warranty (although they used to offer 10 year warranty)
Takes constant abuse with stride
Great Corsair support, if ever needed
Decent speed

4K Read - 5.424 MB/s

Win764 Asus P8Z77-V Deluxe (bios 2104)
Intel Z77 Chipset
Asmedia USB 3.0 (Driver V1.14.3.0)
Win7 64-bit

Cons: Could offer a more recyclable retail package.

Other Thoughts: I have used corsair survivors since 2010 and these new drives are no less robust. I trust them to protect my most valued and sensitive documents (in duplicate of course)! I fully test each once I purchase with SD Formatter v4 and h2testw and I have never had any failures.

SanDisk Ultra Fit 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model SDCZ43-032G-G46
  • Owned For: less than 1 day

5 out of 5 eggs Great little 32GB drive! 01/17/2015

This review is from: SanDisk Ultra Fit 32GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive Model SDCZ43-032G-G46

Pros: Fully recyclable packaging
Good Price ($16.99)
5 Year Limited Warranty (According to Sandisk's product page)
Lanyard attach point (I was immediately worried that it didn't have one when I first saw it because it is so small!)
Doesn't get too hot (as others exaggerate).

Cons: It doesn't quite sit flush like the stock photos show. It IS good however that it sticks out a little bit, otherwise you would have a tough time removing the drive. Also, shorter than industry warranty, although 5 years is still very respectable.

Other Thoughts: I think my USB 3.0 bus might be slower than most, hence the lower than advertised speeds (on my desktop) but this is still a very fast drive. It's amazing because the drive is so small! I would take a hit on speed as a trade-off for smaller size any day. The smaller drive makes me want to use them more (I have several!). Larger thumb drives seem like a pain to "lug" around now!

CrystalDiskMarkX64 v3.0.3 x64 reports NTFS:

G.SKILL 64GB microSDXC Flash Card Model FF-TSDXC64GA-U1
  • Verified Owner
  • Owned For: 1 day to 1 week

4 out of 5 eggs Nice Card 07/19/2014

This review is from: G.SKILL 64GB microSDXC Flash Card Model FF-TSDXC64GA-U1

Pros: Lifetime warranty
Mostly recyclable packaging
Good Price (~25 with combo deal)
Great Read Speed
Exceeds UHS-1 standards

Cons: Slightly lower than expected write speeds (may be just because it is Micro). Still exceeds UHS-1 standards in exFAT.

Other Thoughts: ATTO and CrystalDiskMarkX64 v3.0.3 reports, Kingston MobileLite G4 USB 3.0 UHS-II reader (FCR-MLG4), exFAT:

Seq Read - 77.96 MB/s
Seq Write - 22.68 MB/s
512K Read - 37.72 MB/s
512K Write - 10.80 MB/s
4K Read - 5.211 MB/s
4K Write - 1.006 MB/s
4K QD32 Read - 5.606 MB/s
4K QD32 Write - 0.829 MB/s

(*Note* - 512K speeds may be faster on your reader, my MobileLight G4 historically tests low.)

Not too shabby!
Some of the fastest reads I have seen!

If you have slower speeds, and you were smart, you should know it is your readers fault!
