Pros: Nice case overall, comes with plenty of screws/standoffs. Cable management is fine. Did not use water cooling but used the stock Intel fan which left about 1-1/4" clearance between the top of the HS/Fan and my Corsair CX500M Power supply. Case is reasonably priced and look great.
Cons: The one big con for me was the power/reset button on the front of the case. I am older so I need a lot of light to see. This button is very difficult to see and nearly impossible to feel with your fingers as it is flush with the case..
While installing the MB, the case front was away from me so I reached around to push the power button and was unable to find it for some time, finally I "found" it... Click, nothing, click, nothing.. Ok MB dead? I can get no response from MB at all, (Gigabyte GA-B85N Phoenix Wi-Fi)..
Called Gigabye they walked me through several procedures but no joy.. Return board to NE for replacement, week and 1/2 later, new MB arrives. This time I assemled on a different work area so the case front was toward me when I pushed the power button. Push, nothing, push again, nothing, wait... WHAT another bad board? Look closer... Flashlight out looking at power button, now I can see! Guess what, I was pushing the reset button duh!
Now I'm feeling pretty stupid but not too, too stupid because my 22 yo son also pushed the reset button. Bottom line, I feel the power/reset button design is lacking/terrible...
Other Thoughts: Otherwise this case is great..READ FULL REVIEW
This review is from: MSI 970A-G43 AM3+ AMD 970 + SB950 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX AMD Motherboard
Pros: Lots of features for the price. USB 3.0 on board and USB 3.0 header for the front panel... Nice.
Cons: Oh Geez, the audio! sent the first one back because the audio only worked for a week. Spent hours trying to figure it out by re-installing drivers..blah, blah, etc. still no joy. Finally got the replacement after 2.5 weeks and it seems to be ok except it has the same annoying one second long static buzz during shutdown that the first one also had. Must be a feature on these boards..
Other Thoughts: I have an AMD 3x core and my old Asus had no problem unlocking the 4th core. Both of these boards are unable to do it. Overclockers look elsewhere this board is not for you.
I tried to unplug the front panel USB 3.0 plug and the blue header plug pulled right away from the MB with the plug.. but I was able to carefully replace it and it still works but quality is iffy with this board...
Pros: Great bang for buck item. Controls easy to use and it sits stably on the desk with very little wobble when the desk is bumped.
Cons: None whatever..
Other Thoughts: Good price.READ FULL REVIEW
