1 out of 5 eggs Some components not working. Other components missing entirely. Components not as described. 02/09/2016

This review is from: Dell Optiplex 390 SFF Desktop PC - Intel Core i3 3.3Ghz (2120)- 4GB RAM - 250GB HDD - DVD-ROM - ATI Radeon HD6350 Video Card - Windows 10 Home 64-bit installed - KB/Mouse Included

Pros: 1) They provided a full refund including shipping.

Cons: 1) The listing advertises a dedicated graphics card, but the machine I received had no graphics card included. When I asked them to provide the graphics card, they provided two broken abused-looking cards.
2) Received 200GB hard drive instead of advertised 250GB hard drive.

Other Thoughts: At least they are kind about providing a refund so long as you can be apart from your funds during the RMA process. This machine was a little more expensive than ébay, but I trust these guys to honor a return since they did it for me once already.

CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100/RF) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler
  • neweggOwned For: more than 1 year

Pros: I bought this refurb to replace a 13-month-old "new in box" purchase that I had accidentally damaged by accident (completely my fault). The refurb replacement performed identically to the brand new model. I have had a good overall experience with this product, and I chose to replace the damaged product with the same thing. I am very happy with this refurb, and I can recommend this product to anyone who doesn't mind putting up with noisy fans or replacing the fans with better ones they might have on hand.

Cons: Noisy unless you replace the fans (which is very simple, but requires replacement fans).

The radiator doesn't clean itself! (lol)

5 out of 5 eggs Loud and Effective 02/07/2013

This review is from: CORSAIR Hydro Series H100 (CWCH100) Extreme Performance Liquid CPU Cooler

Pros: I have used both the H80 and H100 and I currently own the H100. I have to say, these are perfect for lazy people like me. If you're not lazy, custom build your own liquid cooling. You will have a more effective cooling system, and you will be able to save money. For an expensive and lazy alternative, there is the H80 and H100 and they're definitely geared toward different uses. If you want a quiet system, get the H80 even if your case is big enough for the H100. The H80 can run quieter, and will support stock CPU clock rates like a cool breeze. I might even overclock a tad on the H80 (like .2 GHz) and not worry the least bit about it, leaving it on the lowest (quietest) setting. The H100 on the other hand can get quite loud, but it will get your CPU 5°C cooler. And let me stress, it is LOUD. You'll find yourself turning all the fans in the whole case to 100% because there is no overall noise difference. The H100 does the job though. I currently have one installed in my Thermaltake Level 10 GT cooling an i7 3770k Ivy Bridge OC'd at 4.6 GHz with a max temp of 74° playing BF3 and using wprime. LOUD, and proud. And lazy. Once again, the H80 is a nice quiet alternative though if you want to nap in the same room as your PC. You can hear a pin drop with that thing on low. I just wouldn't overclock with it. $10 difference, come on.

Cons: LOUD. But effective. Junk installation directions, though not a complicated installation whatsoever.
