Pros: Nice professional look works perfectly, no sync required. It's simply not loud enough even on its loudest setting.
Cons: GE should consider revising the colume gain circuitry and re-release this product.
Other Thoughts: If you have a quiet area or home use this is perfect but even still they could increase the volume gains on the high end.

Pros: We needed to replace a failed doorbell. Because the button had been installed in niche in the front of the house, we needed to purchase the same model as before. Luckily, some things don't change, and this design hasn't been modified in the last 15 years, and it just worked.
The bell part is rather clunky and ugly, but we hide it out of sight. It makes a sad doorbell sound as a sign that its batteries (2 C cells) are wearing out, which is a nice touch. In our house the button and bell are separated by about 30 feet and two walls, and there is no problem with the radio connection between them.
