Pros: Powerful, easy to install, good instructions, good technical support materials, good website support. This product works as intended, installs, and satisfies. Not a flimsy product at all. Made of metal n' stuff.
Cons: Careful with installation, as "stop" function not as easy to set as written in the manual. Pay very close attention to the process, as you may need to do and redo this several times before getting the "stop" sensor to stop at exactly the right spot. It is a very strong actuator, and it will, I kid you not, tear right through whatever wood or flimsy metal or bolts or whatever you think you may have installed to stop said destruction. Had to replace two wooden panels and use additional carriage bolts for my install.
Other Thoughts: Did an install with a full GTO (pro line) product on a sliding gate with this operating a small swing gate. Overkill for the swing gate, but the smallest and cheapest gate quality actuator I could find. If you make a nice gate, this thing will work it. I used a pair of hinged kevlar sealed hinges for the swing gate with nice vertical (pre-bent 1/8 inch to account for hang). Worked like a champ, and was a tiny fraction of the effort compared to the slide gate install. Love this thing and will choose it again for my next gate project.

Cons: The instructions are unclear, and the legs are not welded straight. Dang, they were a bear to try to install straight. When I got finished, the legs wouldn't fold down. They were just too crooked when welded.
