- Returns Policy
Lets try and avoid returns, its easier for us and easier for you! Please check out our Before you pull the trigger check list. By double checking that the appliance fits in the space its going as well as making sure that it can fit through all door ways and hallways beforehand to avoid a headache down the road. Also double check that the fuel type of your existing unit matches the one of your new one. You have 24 hours window for a return to be authorized. You will be responsible for return shipment fee's for any pick-up of merchandise which you ordered incorrectly.
Inspect your appliance prior to accepting the delivery, damaged items should not be accepted on delivery and sent back immediately with the shipping company or delivery crew. Appliances can be rather delicate and it is possible for them to get damaged in between leaving our warehouse and arriving at your house. Our deliveries are 100% insured so if damage does occur you are covered. If the package does arrive damaged its important that your refuse the shipment immediately upon arrival and clearly note it on the delivery invoice. If a damage issue arises after the delivery team has left, it is your responsibility for filing the claim with the shipping company and our customer service department. This is why it is extremely important to do a complete inspection that includes removing the appliance from the box prior to signing for it.
All appliances and televisions we sell come with a 1 year manufactures warranty that covers defects that might occur within the first year of use. It’s important to take your new appliance for a test run as soon as possible. It's rare, but it can happen where once an appliance is installed it is not functioning properly. If this happens please notify our customer service within 48 hours of receiving the appliance to ensure it is dealt with properly. If its after the 48 hour period you can contact the manufacturer directly to set up a service call. It’s their product so if its not working they are obligated to fix it, and if it can not be fixed the manufactures are obligated to replace it. So do not worry you are covered!
Not happy with your product?
It’s something that we would try to avoid prior to purchasing, but it can happen. Before adding that appliance to you shopping cart double check that it fits in the desired area. You also need to double check things like the fuel type and the voltage to insure that it is right and will work with your existing set up. In the unlikely event it’s not what you anticipated and does not meet your needs you have 24 hours to contact us after receiving the appliance. All returns are subject to a 15% -30% restocking fee along with any shipping or handling charges that might have been incurred along the way. All returned items must be sent back with a blank warranty card and in the exact manufactures packaging they were received in. If your item was installed or used we will not accept a return on the item. We do not accept returns on special order items nor do we accept returns on air conditioners. Gerhard's Appliances reserves the right to refuse returns. For any reason.
Orders can be cancelled prior to the item (s) being shipped (excluding special order items) and a cancellation fee may be applicable.
1. Log onto your Newegg.com account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
