Who We Are

WorldofWatches is one of the first internet watch web-sites. We started selling thousands of watches to internet consumers in the 1990s and slowly progressed to becoming the dominant watch e-commerce site.

For the majority of the brands and styles we sell on the internet we are an authorized seller and in some cases we are the trademark holder or the exclusive North American Distributor. However, we sometimes get inquiries regarding whether we are an "Authorized" dealer. "Authorized" dealers are required to sell watches within the manufacturers' pricing guidelines. Even if a dealer wanted to lower his prices - even if he could manage to cut his costs - his hands are tied if he's accepted the status of being an "authorized dealer".

We have been selling fine watches exclusively on the Internet since January 1997. We buy from legitimate factories and distributors. Our worldwide contacts enable us to consistently buy at the lowest possible prices. This is why we can offer you such exceptional savings.

Hundreds of thousands of customers have purchased watches from us online for the last decade and we have proven without any shadow of a doubt that consumers rather get an amazing deal than be overcharged by "Authorized" dealers.

Where the manufacturer does not offer a warranty for watches sold on our site, matches the length of that warranty. Our warranty center employs over 5 full time watchmakers with over 150 years of combined watch repair experience. We also have a master watchmaker trained in Switzerland on staff full time. Indeed, WorldofWatches and its founders process more warranty work than most manufacturers' service centers.

Who We Are Not

Selling a counterfeit watch as the genuine article is a violation of federal law. All of our watches are genuine and authentic. We do not sell refurbished watches or manufacturer's rejects.

We buy our watches through established, legitimate distribution channels. We work very hard to buy them at the lowest possible cost. The result: you get genuine merchandise at exceptionally low prices.

Rating + 1 These people are crooks, do not buy from them!

I would not recommend these criminals to my worst enemy, they do not honor even their stated return policy (which is ridiculous to begin with) but in my case they were especially egregious. I ordered a watch and didn't like the combination leather band with metal bracelet clasp (I couldn't get a good fit) and requested to return it. They sent me an email which said there was a shipping label attached but in fact there was nothing there. Only after calling them did they tell me that Newegg takes all attachments and links out of the emails (if they knew that then why didn't they know that was going to happen?) and if I give them my email address she'll send it ASAP. Well by the time I received the label 30 days had lapsed and when they refused my return one of the reasons is that it's beyond 30 days. What kind of garbage is that? It's their fault that it was beyond 30 days so I was S.O.L. from the beginning. Further they stated that the watch was "USED" since I had tried it on, and that is the biggest crock of garbage I've heard in some time. By taking it out of the package and trying it on I've now precluded myself from returning it? It sure didn't say that ANYWHERE on the product description, the seller description, or on ANYTHING that I could have reasonably been expected to see before making the purchase. I'm trying to get my money back still and Newegg hasn't been very helpful either. Don't shop in the Marketplace period if you don't want to get jacked, and really don't buy from newegg at all if you want to have any hope of customer service. It's a sad state of affairs for what USED to be a decent online retailer.

Ordered sunglasses on the 27 of July- order shipped on 28th. Tracking number does not work and item still not here.7 days passed already. I'm fine with slow shipping if the tracking works!

Invicta watch purchased was defective. Watch sent back to Invicta. They had it for 3 months. Bezel was fogging. Invicta glued the rotating bezel on a diving watch! Horrible service! DON'T RECOMMEND INVICTA!

The part of the sunglasses that go's around your ear is loose. The plastic molding that is on the frame itself. I should have returned them but I don't have the time and I'm not going to care. I can't wait to sit on them. I would not buy again.

I ordered an Invicta watch from this vendor about a year and a half ago. Shipping was prompt. Great watch at a great price. I wear it everyday and it still looks brand new. Just ordered some sunglasses yesterday and received the shipments tracking number. The seller shipped the item immediately after I placed the order and it shipped on the same day. Now thats what I call service. Secondly. The item I ordered was evidently the last one he had. Immediately after ordering it, the Newegg website showed it out of stock. This tells me that seller does a good job of maintaining his inventory. I've bought things from the marketplace on other occasions, only to get an email that the item is no longer in stock. This seller prevents these situations by making sure their listings are marked appropriately. If the item says IN STOCK and is sold by Worldofwatches; you can order with confidence knowing that you won't get a "Sorry. Out of stock" e-mail two days later.

Frankly these sunglasses are worth 15$, so that fact they they claim these cheap plastic lenses and frames MSRP @ $100-200 a piece is laughable. I paid 13$ each and for that it was worthwhile.

For this transaction; the seller provided quick service at a reasonable price.

It is hard to order sunglasses without having tried the pair on. I am satisfied with the pricing and the shipping was fast.

The Timberland brown glasses provided decent protection from the glare off of the recent snow and were distortion and headache free.

    Standard Return Policy will gladly accept the return of new, unused, and undamaged merchandise within 30 days from delivery date.

    The returned merchandise must be in its original condition and accompanied by proof of purchase and the original copy of the warranty, as well as the original documentation and packaging; otherwise the return will not be honored.

    You must obtain a Return For Inspection (RFI) number from before returning the merchandise. We will not accept any returned merchandise without an RFI number. Contact a Customer Service Specialist.

    Returns must be shipped via a prepaid traceable carrier, such as UPS or FedEx. In case of loss or damage, the customer is liable.

    Original condition means that there are no scratches, marks or blemishes on the watch and the security tags are still attached. The watch must not have been sized or altered in any way.

Return Instruction
    1. Log onto your account and find your order in order history, click on 'Request RMA from Seller' Button next to the order information.
    2. On 'Compose Message Page', verify the order number you want to request return on the top of the page, choose 'RMA Inquiry' from the drop down menu, provide the item# (you can find on your order invoice e-mail) and the reason you want to return, and indicate you want to return for replacement or refund before click 'send message' button.
    3. Once our Customer Service Representatives receive your inquiry, it will take us 24 - 48 hours to respond to your inquiry.
    4. Once our Customer Service has verified your order information and approved for you to send the merchandise back to us, you will be provided with Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number for your return through e-mail. The e-mail contains RMA number, RMA details and important return shipping instruction. Read the instruction carefully before you ship your return merchandise back to us.
    5. We strongly recommend you return your item in the same or similar packaging as they were delivered to you with all the original parts, accessories and menu/documentation included (any missing parts or accessories may result your return being rejected or your refund/replacement being delayed). Re-using the package your item came in is acceptable, as long as the packaging is in good condition and all previous addresses, tracking information and labels are removed.
