Shipping took too long to get it out of the door. What good is two shipping if you don't ship it till three days later. 12/27/2016 11:28:33 AM
I paid for two day shipping because i needed it soon. Well, NewEgg allows third party vendors 3 days to ship. Which means i get it 5 days later... Misleading on shipping.... I gave NewEgg and E-bags a chance to refund shipping cost, but neither chose to make it right.

I got the two items that I ordered. One was packaged nicely in a box; the other (an item of the same exact make/model, but a different color) was only packaged in its interior clear-plastic bag. The one without the full packaging had more marks on it than were customary, even for a leather item. I reached out time and again for an exchange/replacement. I was frustrated and offered an opportunity to return the second bag. I didn't want to just return it; I wanted it exchanged. Anyway, I ended up keeping them both, but I give this as fair warning that their responses in the event that you have a problem are very mechanical and don't necessarily resolve the issue the way one might have hoped.

I found this luggage set on ebags (the vendor that Newegg got the luggage from!) cheaper after I had already received it. Then when I did receive, it had tags still on it from Ross retail stores for an even cheaper price then it was listed at ebags!! Needless to say I was not very happy and only managed to get a credit off of my next purchase with Newegg for less then the actual tagged price.

Order cancelled without notice after UPS tracking - WORST SELLER 11/6/2015 1:42:24 PM
Eagerly waiting for my order to be given as a gift for my dad'd birthday. Got a wrong UPS tracking number. when followed up . Got an RMA.
Seller cancelled the order without even letting me know. But sent a wrong fedex tracking. This is the worst experience I've ever had with Newegg.

I have made an order from eBags. After two weeks, the bag is automated returned. I have never seen the bag ! Then I contact the costumer service from newegg, they said it was not their responsible. Then sent an email to another costumer service, then nobody even response to me any more , let alone giving me any explanation. I will never buy anything from eBags and probably newegg. And I will warn anyone I know to buy anything from eBags and newegg. They basically treated costumer very rudely and the most important is that they are not honest to the costumer!

The bag arrived on schedule. However, it was missing the shoulder strap. I had to submit 3 different requests before I could get someone to respond. They finally responded, and indicated that the only way I could get a strap would be for the to send me an entirely new bag. I told them all I needed was a strap, but they said they didn't come separately, and that if it took replacing the entire bag to get the strap then that would be fine. There really was no communication after that, but I received only the strap about 2 weeks later. I love the bag, and the price was great. However, the process to get the shoulder strap was frustrating because I had to make several requests, and communication was lacking. They did finally make it right, so I'm giving them an overall rating of 4. The product itself is a 5.

I purchased a Kenneth Cole Reaction bag from eBags through Newegg.

The product description describes the leather as "Columbian Leather" and, most importantly, "Rich full grain cowhide leather exterior."

The very first thing I saw when unwrapping the bag was a nice big tag that read "GENUINE LEATHER." Although usage of these terms vary, genuine leather usually means a low-quality leather. I bought this bag because I thought I was getting full-grain leather, which is the highest grade leather you can buy. Apparently, t hat's not what I got.

I gave two stars instead of one because the leather actually does look and feel like good quality leather. But since the bag has fabric liners (so I can't see the back of the leather) I will never know for sure. Leather can be faked very easily and I have this tag that tells me it's Genuine Leather.
