The item quit working after a few days of use. I tried to contact the seller about replacement or return within the stated return period - no response. My messages are just ignored. Newegg emailed the seller on my behalf as well. Still no response. Don't buy from them. These low-quality Chinese items are not very reliable, so you have to buy them from a seller that accepts returns. Usually if you buy from China directly, you get sellers that care about their reputation and work with you to resolve issues. This seller - Hobbytron - is not that type.

I am still in process with you of getting a missing battery charger, or info what to use to recharge. The battery has a spec that says use the charger that came with it.

I purchased a remote toy car from Hobbytron 2 weeks ago . I’m very disappointed with quality of the product. Out of the box it didn’t work. I tried to return it but it turns out I have to pay for the shipping. This remote car looks like something from the dollar store it is not worth paying shipping and waste even more money on it. I’m surprised that Newegg would offer something like this on Newegg website.

Never Received Product Nor Refund 2/15/2014 5:02:37 PM
I was never able to receive my product. They charged me and the product never made it to me, so I filed a claim. Newegg referred me to the seller, and the seller has not properly settled my case. This is the 5th week since I filed my claim and I have neither received a promise of the product nor a promise of a refund. I have yet to receive any word from them after they "guaranteed" that they will resolve this with the warehouse that day. "That day" was two weeks ago. I am extremely disappointed and irritated by the level of customer service by this seller. I feel that I have been scammed, as I did not receive my product, though they have charged me. I am still in hopes that this will be resolved as soon as possible, but from the looks of things, I will have had my money stolen from me.

As many other unfortunate buyers have found, the chances of getting a working item from this seller is quite random and getting any help is non-existent. I have submitted emails and RMA requests to no avail, to no response and am left holding toys that were Christmas presents for my daughters that don't work. Newegg, please discontinue this seller as their poor products and service reflect on you. Or alternatively, at least go to bat for you loyal customers by intervening or providing some conflict resolution options.

Ordered a certain RC car. ( Could have ordered elsewhere but trusted newegg.) Received package day before Christmas with wrong product and not attached saying we exchanged your ordered item with a comparable item. I never agreed to a exchange nor did they ever contact me to ask if this was an OK option. I would have cancelled the order.

Swapping something out and attaching a note is very bad customer service.

Luxury Train Set - damaged 12/16/2013 11:54:28 AM
Received on time today. The outer box the train set was shipped in was undamaged, but the package inside containing the train had ripped plastic and broken pieces of track. Had to have been broken before being shipped. Now only a week until Christmas, no way to get this resolved in time for my nephews Christmas present, which I'm sure Hobbytron is relying on. Send out junk and hope they don't send it back, probably figure it would cost us more to pay postage to return it then the value of the item.

Newegg Vendor Hobbytron, is an absolutely horrible vendor to deal with, and will impact future shopping decisions I make with Newegg. There is no shortage of quality Internet Vendors. There is no point to waste valuable time and resources with failed newegg business model.

they shipped me the wrong item, then would NOT call me back after I called their c/s dept several times. I had to call Newegg and get them to ask hobbytron to contact me. Hobbytron finally contacted me and I have to pay to ship their mistake back to california

ordered a paper copter, doesn't work, doesn't charge right after open box. contacted newegg, finally got RMA, mailed it back the next day via USPS. 1 month later received cancellation email saying they never received it and RMA cancelled. Will never trust this seller again

I ordered my copter on 4/16/12. Contacted the seller by email, phone, left messages and I never got a response. My copter within a week stopped charging and it's now paperweight. Don't ever order from hobbytron if you need customer service.

Ordered 2 RC Helicopters, only received 1 in the box. the other half of the box was stuffed with packing. When I called Hobbytron about it, Paige stated they would look into it, verify the weight of the package and get back to me. They have yet to call and aside of the shipping label, there is no weight listed on the packaging of the actual toy. Shady.

Comments: I ordered one helicopter. I received three and was charged for three. I attempted to contact the reseller for return and was never contacted. I then contacted your support and was never given a RMA to return the not ordered extra units. This is very bad business. I cannot order from your company ever again. Keith Morris

Received the helicopters late as heck....the one that got played with the gears stripped pretty quick from just normal use and Hobbytron never wrote back or even acknowledged I had a complaint.....poor poor business model imo and it shows in their reviews

This item does not work and I wish to return it. I e-mailed Hobbytron for return instructions a week ago and still have not heard back. The 30-day return policy may expire before I ever hear back from them, leaving me with a worthless item and no way to get my money back.

I am so disappointed in Newegg and Hobbytron. We have tried to resolve our issue with our broken helicopter with countless calls to the company. We have appealed to Newegg to help us and neither has gotten us any resolve. The toy brough within 20 mins. after opening and we have been left with unresolved issues. Neither company has stood behind their policies or their promises to "call back" or clear this up. We had already put the funds out for the toy and cannot just replace it without a replacement of funds. So disappointing. It has caused us not to want to use Newegg again or recommend it.
